Calefax is just nominated for the yearly VSCD Classical Music Prize 2005.
The winner will be announced in november 2005, but so far Calefax is the only ensemble nominated. From the jury: "Thanks to its extraordinary line-up Calefax has crossed borders in the repertoire of the traditional woodwind quintets. Like no other ensemble Calefax brings on stage both new music and arrangements of a wide range of existing repertoire in a manner that is as convincing as compelling."
